Our mission is three-fold—Awareness, Advocacy and Action. Awareness speaks to our commitment to reach out and involve a diverse group of people in the preparation, execution and evaluation of our efforts. Advocacy efforts will build alliances with leaders and elected officials to bring about systemic change. Actions include a continuum of programs and services from the cradle to graduate school to give students access to rigorous learning environments that will prepare them for college. Our unique brand of after-school, pre-school and parent leadership training will prepare the Future Force. We invite you to join our efforts as a participant, volunteer, and/or investor. We have a big challenge ahead of us!
Students- Future Force is developing a number of great resources to help you make the best grades possible throughout your school years. We want to ensure that you pursue college as your future option and begin preparing right now, no matter what grade you are in. We also will keep you informed on the best careers for the 21st Century and how to access these careers. You will even be able to communicate with individuals working within your career interest.
Parents- If you are a parent or guardian this site will keep you abreast of information and knowledge to help you make the right decisions as your child’s first teacher from the cradle to the completion of graduate studies. We keep you connected with the latest research, policies and best practices to inform your decision-making for your family’s success. Coming soon we offer the Future Force Parent Academy, a technology-based training module just for you. Our mission on your behalf is to nurture an achievement culture within your family.
Teacher/Community Leader-The Future Force offers you wonderful opportunities to support students and their families’ achievement outcomes. We will offer training and professional development workshops for your staff. The Future Force movement includes celebrations and other forms of affirmation for students who have beat the odds and make good grades in school. Leaders in Business and Industry -The Future Force Network will address the education and workforce skills needs of America by mobilizing high-achieving youth and nurturing achievement possibilities in neighborhoods across America."
If you live outside of the United States the Future Force has something for you as well. Our world is a global village and education is the thread that weaves through the social, economic and political fabric that connects us all. We look forward to forming international partnerships.
