To build a national network through awareness, advocacy and action to improve overall achievement outcomes from the cradle to 21st Century careers for low income children and their families.

OUR VISION

Working together with educational systems and communities, (families, faith-based organizations, human service organizations, neighborhood associations, civic organizations), the Future Force Ventures will (1) build a seamless continuum of services proficient in developing the innate abilities of low income students and families; (2) enhance the ability of organizations serving them by providing technical assistance, culturally relevant programs, greater efficiency, and equitable resources.

Vision in action

  1. Quality pre-school programs that nurture social and intellectual abilities of America’s most vulnerable groups of infants, toddlers and other pre-school age children.
  2. Pre K-graduate school accelerated learning that espouses pedagogy of empowerment and economic opportunity for vulnerable populations.
  3. Before and after-school learning that improve social and academic outcomes and values the contributions of diverse cultures to the world economy.
  4. K-12 programs that offer early awareness programs to prepare low income and students of color and their parents for college and introduce students to 21st Century careers.
  5. Neighborhood based programs that nurture achievement cultures in families, among neighbors and friends.
  6. Culturally rich education programs that involve families and friends as active participants.
  7. Advanced placement and early college programs that give all high school students early college access.
  8. Education programs that have high expectations (every student will attend college); high support (the unique needs of each students addressed by learning setting and home environment); and, high content (every student accessing rigorous core courses K-20).
  9. Work/study/travel abroad opportunities that connect low income students to global learning.
  10. Education as a model for community empowerment and economic development.
